The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Mo Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Leandro Macario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Manly FC's Mo Salah in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalie prevented a goal. Felippe Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ray Clemence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Duke Carnduff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Felippe Favoretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ray Clemence. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Söderkvist came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felippe Favoretto. Leandro Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clifford Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Olof Söderkvist in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manly FC's goalie prevented a goal. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Despite this Ray Clemence quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leandro Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duke Carnduff, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Manly FC got a corner. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexander Arnold ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Manly FC's corner Mo Salah fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leandro Macario quite easily take care of the ball. Manly FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexander Arnold in the 40th minute. Leandro Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Salah in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mo Salah was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Felippe Favoretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ray Clemence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tanek Weyna ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tanek Weyna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manly FC's Ray Clemence did a great save. Nicanor Alvarez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Tanek Weyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Felippe Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Tanek Weyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Manly FC booed when DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanek Weyna didn't get a good kick on the ball. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Leandro Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Aldridge in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Manly FC were awarded a corner. Alexander Arnold went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 86th minute, Felippe Favoretto made a precise shot to the right of Ray Clemence. Manly FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Manly FC's Duke Carnduff managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Conrado Chuan in the 89 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Aldridge in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Macario saved DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manly FC for a fine match.
