Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joseph Asklöv took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Sao Brasola got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elia Di Vincenzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Elia Di Vincenzo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Punta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of the match. Urbano Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Saturnin having to interfere. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Urbano Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sao Brasola's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Saturnin came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nojus Barasa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbano Saturnin. Sao Brasola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Di Vincenzo in the 54th minute of play. Elia Di Vincenzo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sao Brasola. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Cesare Punta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Di Vincenzo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Di Vincenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Di Vincenzo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Di Vincenzo to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urbano Saturnin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sao Brasola's Joseph Asklöv got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Punta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Asklöv in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 95th minute. Cesare Punta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
