Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Markham kicked off to start the match. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Emanuel Markham took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Emanuel Markham's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 9th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Markham got free with Dante Lacasa in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes, Felix Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Østbye in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kai Østbye sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. In the 30th minute Kai Østbye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Ribe hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Markham's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Borys Witek made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Borys Witek. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Østbye, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Borys Witek made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borys Witek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Witek having to make a save. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Brufoss IL from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla shot a long shot in the 75th minute and a light blocked Borys Witek hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-2. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Christer Ribe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai Østbye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brufoss IL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
