After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ryszard Ligas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lemiesz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Wykowski in the 28th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Ryszard Ligas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-5. Ziemowit Lemiesz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Krzysztof Bator ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
