Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Márcio Sena got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugênio Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Eugênio Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. When Albertinho Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvara's protests and gave Albertinho Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Albertinho Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Eugênio Castro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugênio Castro. Eugênio Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Alvara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Trigo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Alvara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes, Gerson Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvara and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Alvara got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Lago. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Eugênio Castro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albertinho Trigo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Eugênio Castro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugênio Castro. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugênio Castro, 5-0. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Castro having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugênio Castro was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugênio Castro. Alvara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Eugênio Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Eugênio Castro came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 72nd minute of play forced Alvara's goalkeeper Eugênio Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Freire during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Alvara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Freire to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Escribano scored 8-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugênio Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugênio Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eugênio Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 94 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Cazalla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Uruguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
