Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulkadir Dadaloğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdulkadir Dadaloğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdulkadir Dadaloğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niyazi Demir to make the kick off. TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™'s Abdulkadir Dadaloğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute of play. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdulkadir Dadaloğlu. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™'s zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkadir Dadaloğlu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
