When Kyle Davies came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Curacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Davies couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 17th minute of play forced Better Call Saul's goalkeeper José Pedro Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Davies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Neto having to interfere. 21 minutes in the game, Renato Linhares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Bertie Johnson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cauã Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Better Call Saul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Cearense to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 28th minute of play forced Better Call Saul's goalkeeper José Pedro Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauã Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Curacao's Kyle Davies sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Pedro Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Kyle Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Davies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Pedro Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 78 minutes, Kyle Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Davies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benê da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Curacao booed when Better Call Saul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Better Call Saul got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Quadros. After having played for 92 minutes, Cauã Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Better Call Saul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curacao's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
