Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Ahmet Enes Spor's Arne Thielemans got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Ahmet Enes Spor's Teodoro Gonsalve in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Ahmet Enes Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Ahmet Koralp Özsevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Gonsalve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Ahmet Koralp Özsevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Arne Thielemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Arne Thielemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ahmet Enes Spor booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebati Arıtan. Ahmet Enes Spor's Ahmet Koralp Özsevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 93rd minute of play. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ahmet Enes Spor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
