Mariusz Majkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariusz Majkowski came out of the goal and Moises Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Roman Tim Tfaruk were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
