Cătălin Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Ayi Kusumah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cătălin Ostoici quite easily take care of the ball. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Grigoris Katsafanas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Rolando Noboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 28th minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by BuanaRaya's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Ostoici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after BuanaRaya's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Cătălin Ostoici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute BuanaRaya were awarded a corner. Meng Quan Han went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on BuanaRaya's corner Meng Quan Han fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Cătălin Ostoici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute of play. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save BuanaRaya from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meng Quan Han to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Katsafanas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 87th minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Pepijn Hummel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Ostoici was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
