Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Mouricio. Thanks to some nice moves Natalio Bernal could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Elazar having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Elazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cipriano Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Cipriano Elazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Zuberbühler FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 35 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Elazar. Zuberbühler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cipriano Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cipriano Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cipriano Elazar having to interfere. Cipriano Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cipriano Elazar made a huge save. Cipriano Elazar had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cristian Sancho from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 60 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Kemen. Cipriano Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of the match. Cipriano Elazar was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Cipriano Elazar made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Zuberbühler FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Elazar, making the score, 0-5. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Cipriano Elazar made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Gustavo Cordaryal got a free kick in the 84th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cipriano Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
