Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kristóf Földes started the match with the kick off. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dogelo's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Catarinense in the 8th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Catarinense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 16th minute Frank Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manúel Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Catarinense in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manúel Bento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Dogelo defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manúel Bento. The Dogelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manúel Bento should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla was substituted for Frank Catarinense. Manúel Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of play. Sebastián Verón hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Manúel Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Murillo to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manúel Bento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Peru's Antonio Tenorio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manúel Bento was left in no man's land by his defense there!
