Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim. But to his dismay, Cristinel Nicodim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Ilie Crainic in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihail Albu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Nicodim to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Cristinel Nicodim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Crainic made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Albu in the 35th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Cristinel Nicodim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Crainic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 42nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Crainic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Botgros.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Nicodim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Albu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Cristinel Nicodim put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mihail Albu hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Isărescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Uruguay booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhat Kıvılcım didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferhat Kıvılcım kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ilie Crainic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Crainic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 75 in the game by Cristinel Nicodim from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. In the 82nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Mihail Albu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 0-4. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Uruguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
