The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Augusto do Valle made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Frankie Le Van notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Enginsu Lütfullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Paraguay booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwan Tripier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Steven Olivieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Saubrigues support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
