Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hıncal Hatırlı started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Bayburtspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Eriş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 8th minute, Xu Guang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10th play minutes Hıncal Hatırlı shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. If Hıncal Hatırlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xu Guang hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bayburtspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Mehmet Ali Eriş, making the score, 1-1. In the 28th minute Hıncal Hatırlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ali Eriş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Sudi in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hıncal Hatırlı in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Hamza Yüksel hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Bayburtspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazil Harmanda to maneuver through the defense. Hıncal Hatırlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Bayburtspor's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hıncal Hatırlı, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hıncal Hatırlı received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Hıncal Hatırlı slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mehmet Ali Eriş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Hıncal Hatırlı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hıncal Hatırlı. Hıncal Hatırlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Hıncal Hatırlı made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ensar Özakıncı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayburtspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ensar Özakıncı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Hıncal Hatırlı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayburtspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hıncal Hatırlı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bayburtspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Guang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hıncal Hatırlı charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hıncal Hatırlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Bayburtspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hıncal Hatırlı to maneuver through the defense. Bayburtspor played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
