A nice corner shot did that Radu Pânzaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matthew Tielve's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Crainic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Crainic saved BlueLionesse from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Radu Pânzaru, made in the 15th minute of the game. If Octavian Isărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ilie Crainic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Nicodim, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Isak Sundberg's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of BlueLionesse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. The excitement rose when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas after 27 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for BlueLionesse's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. After 29 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Mailat. The audience was convinced that Cristinel Nicodim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Patricio Costa scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Crainic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Han Shi Chao during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Nicodim made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Octavian Isărescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavian Isărescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Tomas Illescas scored 1-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Crainic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sebastian Mailat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Mihail Albu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. BlueLionesse's Mihail Albu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Albu in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Nicodim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isak Sundberg made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristinel Nicodim immediately put the ball in play.
