Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gianluca Vialli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Segundo San Segundo made a great header on Falckner FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Loco De la Maza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Loco De la Maza in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loco De la Maza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. The Falckner FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gianluca Vialli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Loco De la Maza could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Gilberto Librado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco De la Maza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Vialli. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Arias during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Segundo San Segundo. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 73rd minute. Loco De la Maza came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Falckner FC:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Segundo San Segundo:s penalty. 84 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Falckner FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loco De la Maza quite easily take care of the ball. Falckner FC's Olaf Ciempa got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 98 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gorosti came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
