Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Youri Djorkaeff kicked off to start the match. Avel Vat's Danny Pasquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Malcom Vrignon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Pasquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. A well done corner resulted in Agustín Saelices drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Avel Vat's goalkeeper. 12 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Danny Pasquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcom Vrignon to maneuver through the defense. Danny Pasquier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Avel Vat's Danny Pasquier. Danny Pasquier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Danny Pasquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Danny Pasquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Kubiak. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillaume Minier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Djorkaeff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Youri Djorkaeff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Youri Djorkaeff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Pasquier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Danny Pasquier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Danny Pasquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. In the 71st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Pasquier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avel Vat's Danny Pasquier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Avel Vat from getting a goal against them. Danny Pasquier made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avel Vat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Danny Pasquier made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Danny Pasquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Émilien Tessier kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Malcom Vrignon got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Sébastien Milliot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Avel Vat.
