When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Altıncığlu in the 23rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Maura to maneuver through the defense. Yunus-Emre Balcik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Freddy Maura got a free kick in the 87th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Freddy Maura hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Osmanlı İmparatorluğu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
