Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ove Zachrisson kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Dahlgren in the 3rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Åke Markusson. Sven-Åke Markusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Valter Karlstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciudad Tao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Karlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sven-Åke Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sven-Åke Markusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 18 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Åke Markusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ciudad Tao FC's Sven-Åke Markusson. Sven-Åke Markusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Ciudad Tao FC's Håkan Ekström got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Markusson having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Albert Dahlgren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ciudad Tao FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Sven-Åke Markusson was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Åke Markusson. Sven-Åke Markusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sven-Åke Markusson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ciudad Tao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 67th minute shot 0-6 at rihgt post. Sven-Åke Markusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Åke Markusson. Ciudad Tao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Markusson having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Sven-Åke Markusson to make any attempt to save it. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Ove Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ciudad Tao FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
