The corner ended in Maciej Ligas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of the match. Klaas Dejonghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cazalla in the 22nd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Klaas Dejonghe. Wariatów Kupa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Sochacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wariatów Kupa were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maciej Ligas took the corner. The corner ended in Maciej Ligas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Sochacki in the 33rd minute of play. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of the match. Zbyszko Kempski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Wariatów Kupa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Ligas to maneuver through the defense. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaas Dejonghe. Klaas Dejonghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Wariatów Kupa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaas Dejonghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Klaas Dejonghe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Kempski in the 80th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Kempski in the 83rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Sochacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Zbyszko Kempski might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszko Kempski ran back to his position shaking his head. Wariatów Kupa's Borys Zarobski was substituted for Mikolaj Sochacki. Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
