Eskil Lindblom might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 18th match minute, Abasto fútbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Inge to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Abasto fútbol club's Daði 曹南亦 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eskil Lindblom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eskil Lindblom. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Lindblom came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Eskil Lindblom scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. Angelino Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Roldan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abasto fútbol club's Alex Burgos was substituted for Fernando Dominguez. Abasto fútbol club made a substitution. Norberto Tiadoro replaced Claudio-Paul Caniggia. Abasto fútbol club's Benicio Koldo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kevin Mastache, made in the 65th minute of the game. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Benicio Koldo made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Angelino Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 73rd minute of play forced Abasto fútbol club's goalkeeper Angelino Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Kevin Mastache fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 79th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Colombia booed when Abasto fútbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Lindblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Colombia's Abram Secada in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abasto fútbol club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Eskil Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Lindblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
