The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Malheiro in the 12th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Malheiro scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Jairo Malheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Malheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 26th minute. Evander Zabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Malheiro in the 33rd minute of the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Ciudad Tao FC's Miron Zabel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. A hard shot by Joakim Vennerlund from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 73 minutes into the match, Jairo Malheiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-9. A hard shot 77 in the game by Miron Zabel from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miron Zabel in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciudad Tao FC played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
