Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Panling in the 13th minute of play. Anders Havreland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lavritz Sommur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Havreland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lavindsgaarde FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lavritz Sommur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavritz Sommur in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Lavindsgaarde FC's Lavritz Sommur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Anders Havreland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Lavindsgaarde FC got a freekick which was hit by Eg Flensburg. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gotfred Leismann in the 44th minute of the match. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lavindsgaarde FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gotfred Leismann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Lavindsgaarde FC got a freekick which was hit by Lavritz Sommur. After having played for 56 minutes, Lavritz Sommur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavindsgaarde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lavritz Sommur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Lavindsgaarde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertel Olson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Havreland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Havreland having to make a save. A well done corner resulted in Luca Rouco drilling the ball in to score 3-2 behind Lavindsgaarde FC's goalkeeper. Luca Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Havreland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Havreland having to interfere. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Elias Panling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Havreland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
