Narciso Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oiteiras. After 41 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Jacinto. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silas Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Adilson Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Oiteiras's Renatinho Loyola got a free kick in the 56th minute. Oiteiras's Acácio Gaspar was substituted for Silas Magalhães. The supporters of Honduras booed when Oiteiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Adilson Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oiteiras's Adilson Reis. But to his dismay, Adilson Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Agnaldo Pontes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Narciso Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 80 minutes into the match, Adilson Reis notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 84th minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper 彭钢昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 彭钢昂. 彭钢昂 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Reis in the 94th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oiteiras.
