Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rohan Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canada were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Golden Lions FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koby Wright took the corner. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Harris, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Bebben Johansson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 34th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada's Jax Williamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bebben Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koby Wright was the one to do the kick off. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rohan Watson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Rohan Watson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Loco Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jax Williamson saved Canada from getting behind. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match, Luka Harris got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anders Lundqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Mats Nyström. Golden Lions FC's Marcelo Steven was substituted for İbrahim Efe Topdemir. 73 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebben Johansson in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Burç Tokhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prince Anderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Cosme Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Canada's Luka Harris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anders Lundqvist. That made the score 1-2 after 83 minutes of play. Alfred John got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Regan Jordan. If Burç Tokhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Luka Harris got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anders Lundqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Burton in the 94th minute of the match. Canada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
