The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Samsunspor's Yağızhan Acıbadem dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-6. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tamer Mengüç showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-7 in the 91 minute of play. After 94 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Finlay Stair. When the match was over Samsunspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jamaica throughout the match.
