Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pavel Tushkov made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tacettin Şahinalp in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The Arruaca fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 6 played minutes Arruaca got a freekick which was hit by Sylvestre Ouellet. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute really tested Pavel Tushkov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Şahinalp in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pavel Tushkov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pavel Tushkov quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tacettin Şahinalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tacettin Şahinalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Arruaca were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damazy Piszczor took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Sylvestre Ouellet heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvestre Ouellet in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Tushkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Arruaca's Pavel Tushkov got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes Arruaca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arruaca's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavel Tushkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Tushkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arruaca's Pavel Tushkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute of play forced Arruaca's goalkeeper Pavel Tushkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Arruaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feng Wei Xu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
