Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charly Alcaraz in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balázs Hujber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balázs Hujber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Casomiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cleto Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Saturnino Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Casomiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balázs Hujber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Ixidor in the 51st minute of the match. U21 Argentina's Christian Romero was substituted for Cleto Barea. U21 Argentina's Fabio Millrick was substituted for Hugo Casomiro. When Zoltán Solti fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Hungary's protests and gave Zoltán Solti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, U21 Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Solti to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Imre Balázs came free, but Nemesio Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máté Sáfár's late challenge caught a U21 Argentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 90th minute Fabio Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balázs Hujber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Fabio Millrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Balázs Hujber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over U21 Argentina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Hungary throughout the match.
