That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Librado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Librado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Joel Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Claudio Librado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Librado. That made the score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Hartz in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelito Demaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Librado. Guns And Roses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 69 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Claudio Librado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Guns And Roses's Claudio Librado. Claudio Librado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Joel Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Librado. Guns And Roses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 83 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Librado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. After a defensive mix-up in Guns And Roses's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Librado came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Astor Garaona. After 88 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Librado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Librado. Guns And Roses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
