In the 23rd minute Romulo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Maradona in the 32nd minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Maradona in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Abilio came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Romulo Abilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Romulo Abilio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Matias Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoff Stocks in the 86th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Crema. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Abilio to maneuver through the defense.
