C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bartolo Ugaitz in the 12 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Sandalio got free with Ciriaco Macias in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Sandalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Macias made a huge save. After 20 minutes of play, C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteban José Andrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yuan Lin Shi fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 25th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Aaron Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ciriaco Macias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Ugaitz made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi. 38 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban José Andrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Baumar. The supporters of Guansa booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Sandalio scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Macias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban José Andrada came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun. But to his dismay, Cristo Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half C.A.Independiente were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heigo Luiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rareș Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban José Andrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Lisandro Mederi in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guansa's Karl Beck. After a defensive mix-up in Guansa's zone, Heigo Luiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban José Andrada came out of the goal and Heigo Luiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban José Andrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Bosioc in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Guansa booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Macias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Sandalio's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Aaron Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Independiente's Fabian Ipar was substituted for Øyvind Rovik. After taking down the ball on C.A.Independiente's corner Gavril Bosioc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esteban José Andrada quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to C.A.Independiente getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lisandro Mederi hit a great ball. Ciriaco Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Sandalio in the 92nd minute of the match. Esteban José Andrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heigo Luiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
