In the 6th minute, Dário Prada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Orlondon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Miguel Orlondon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Prada's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Dário Prada scored 3-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Orlondon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Perros del sur getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Unai Cobos hit a great ball. Dário Prada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Miguel Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Sixto Aimar notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Los Hornos's Silas de Andrade. Silas de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 25th minute of play. Los Hornos's Justino Amato was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Orlondon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Silas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Riquelme in the 28th minute of play. Silas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jaime Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Dário Prada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Perros del sur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Amato was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Hornos's players had a chance to rest. In the 45th minute Dário Prada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Prada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 51st minute of play forced Perros del sur's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Perros del sur's Wilfredo Rayman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hornos's zone, Donato Viator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas de Andrade came out of the goal and Donato Viator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 58th minute of play forced Perros del sur's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Los Hornos's Dário Prada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Orlondon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 64th minute of the match Los Hornos got a corner. Perros del sur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Amato ran over to the corner to take the kick. Los Hornos's Gerardo Joseph was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Orlondon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Los Hornos's Justino Amato managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilfredo Rayman in the 67 minute of the game. If Dário Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Sixto Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's Dário Prada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Orlondon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Hornos's Silas de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hornos from getting a goal against them. Dário Prada might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Orlondon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dário Prada ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Prada in the 76th minute of the match. Jaime Veronica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Orlondon having to make a save. Miguel Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Prada, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Perros del sur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 87th match minute, Perros del sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unai Cobos to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hornos's goalkeeper Silas de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dário Prada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Orlondon was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd match minute, Perros del sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Riquelme to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Perros del sur getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jose Eriz hit a great ball. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes, Dário Prada made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Hornos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
