The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Esteban José Andrada made a huge save. In the 10th minute of the match Guansa got a corner. Marlin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yuan Lin Shi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Guansa's corner Yuan Lin Shi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Carlos Alvarez quite easily take care of the ball. In the 11th minute, Aaron Sandalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Carlos Alvarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Guansa's attentive José Carlos Gaspar managed to snatch the ball when Melchor Oidor made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Karl Beck hit a great ball. If Aybek Orcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Sandalio came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guansa's attentive José Carlos Gaspar managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Iglesias made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Aaron Sandalio might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Carlos Alvarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Sandalio ran back to his position shaking his head. Rareș Necula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Arixo in the 28th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Aaron Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Aaron Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Sandalio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aaron Sandalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Alvarez was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Aybek Orcun came free, but Esteban José Andrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guansa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Linus Fredriksson scored to the left of an out of position Esteban José Andrada, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 50th play minute Aaron Sandalio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Carlos Alvarez. 1-2. In the 53rd minute, Fernando Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban José Andrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Arixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Necula didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Aaron Sandalio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez got control of the ball when Aaron Sandalio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Rareș Necula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guansa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Necula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban José Andrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guansa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ismael Iglesias was slow to take the kick. During this time Marlin FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban José Andrada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Esteban José Andrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Rana, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Leon Lobo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ismael Iglesias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guansa's Esteban José Andrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybek Orcun in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Guansa's Karl Beck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Carlos Alvarez. Juan Carlos Alvarez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The supporters of Guansa booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guansa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
