The crowd rose to their feet as Cristo Basajaun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvestre Vilalobos. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Vilalobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Los Golosos's Doğan Pekin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Silvestre Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heigo Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cristo Basajaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Vilalobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Indiana Jones got a free kick in the 27th minute. Silvestre Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heigo Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Silvestre Vilalobos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heigo Luiga struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Silvestre Vilalobos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. Silvestre Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heigo Luiga in the 39th minute of the match. Cristo Basajaun succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 40th playminute. In the 44th minute Nicolas Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Estevez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Los Golosos's Faustino Toro got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute, Cristo Basajaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Gavril Bosioc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heigo Luiga in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heigo Luiga in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Vilalobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 minutes Los Golosos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Gonsalve who took care of the corner kick. After 72 played minutes Los Golosos got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Leguizamón. 73 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Basajaun came free, but Silvestre Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.Independiente were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Los Golosos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardino Gonsalve took the corner. 76 minutes into the game, Faustino Toro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Golosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Independiente the free kick. Faustino Toro made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A.Independiente's Gavril Bosioc. C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki was substituted for Cristo Basajaun. Bernardino Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Silvestre Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Misaki in the 89th minute of play. Silvestre Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Misaki in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Golosos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A.Independiente.
