Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damaso Sancho kicked off to start the match. The coaching staff of Los Golosos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saturnino Ascencio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 17th minute, one of Los Golosos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Golosos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Sancho in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Vilalobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvestre Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Damaso Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Vilalobos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Sancho's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Vilalobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvestre Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Golosos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franz Beckenbauer was slow to take the kick. During this time Congo Bongo's players had a chance to rest. Damaso Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Vilalobos having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Los Golosos's Adrian Transito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máté Márton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Transito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Transito had several of the Congo Bongo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Máté Márton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Damaso Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Vilalobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Silvestre Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Sancho in the 80th minute of play.
