Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Garry Mason started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Eutropio Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Victor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Los Colegas del Barrio got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Nunez. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Victor having to interfere. Garry Mason's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Jonathan Venegas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Victor quite easily take care of the ball. Paulo Victor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Pelayo Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garry Mason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Victor saved Los Colegas del Barrio from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Victor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Victor having to interfere. Paulo Victor made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Victor was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Los Colegas del Barrio made a substitution. Josepe Mangas replaced Gai Teruel. Los Colegas del Barrio's Bitxintxo Etxeberria was substituted for Olaf Iniesta. Antonio Canal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garry Mason in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 77th minute Los Colegas del Barrio were awarded a corner. Cosme De Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Colegas del Barrio's Cosme De Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cordarin Silva hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Paulo Victor in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, Pelayo Vazquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Los Colegas del Barrio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
