Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Santiago Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. The SABALEPLUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Toli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Toli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Enaut in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Santiago Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Toli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SABALEPLUS were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Máximo Kirchner took the corner. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Enaut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ovidio Enaut sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Matthew Alavedra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Enaut in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Máximo Kirchner. In the 46th match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Penc to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Enaut was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, SABALEPLUS's Alípio Prates got a free kick in the 54th minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Santiago Toli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ovidio Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Santiago Toli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Santiago Toli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Toli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Santiago Toli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Santiago Toli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. SABALEPLUS made a substitution. Candido Txanton replaced Jasmin Jambrešić. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Enaut in the 84th minute of play. SABALEPLUS's Candido Txanton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 90th minute, Máximo Kirchner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SABALEPLUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Toli having to interfere. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SABALEPLUS had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
