An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 30th minute of play forced Onhaye's goalkeeper Xander Van Geertruyden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xander Van Geertruyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 31st minute of play. Sven Snälls short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xander Van Geertruyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play. Xander Van Geertruyden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of the match. Godfried Parmentier kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Sven Snäll who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Andre Geijselinckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee ignored Onhaye's protests and gave Pål Joensson a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Onhaye got a freekick which was hit by Pål Joensson. After 89 minutes, Dreas Candries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onhaye and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dreas Candries kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Onhaye's Xander Van Geertruyden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Onhaye from getting a goal against them. Joerie Baeyens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Andre Geijselinckx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Onhaye were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
