Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) A sloppy throw-in by Júnior Meirelles in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 6th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Júnior Meirelles hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Queirós in the 12th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Christian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play. Moises Tafalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Pinho in the 32nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Squadra Demarchi's Nilson Corrêa. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Júnior Meirelles made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kléber Queirós immediately put the ball in play. Paulinho Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Paraibano. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 64th minute of play. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Kléber Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Navarro made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squadra Demarchi's Nilson Corrêa. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kléber Queirós sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
