After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Biagio Nola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Biagio Nola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Dennis Cimino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Cimino was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Pinti came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Castagneto Po AFC's Fedele Pasquale got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po AFC's Biagio Nola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Sciarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Castagneto Po AFC's Dennis Cimino got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Nola in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Alfredo Milani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Castagneto Po AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Castagneto Po AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Pasquale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Castagneto Po AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
