Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nacho Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Chico having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Rosendo Natal sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Rosendo Natal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nacho Chico. Nacho Chico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nacho Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrialito's Nacho Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Barrialito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Barros to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes Barrialito got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Cristofol. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rosendo Natal 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Primitivo Andino made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Agustín Saelices. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosendo Natal made a kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Nacho Chico came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Nacho Chico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nacho Chico came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. Rosendo Natal took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Nacho Chico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes Barrialito's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Juan Sebastián Puig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 71st minute, Luciano Lapurdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nacho Chico. Barrialito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Nacho Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Barrialito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nacho Chico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacho Chico made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Barrialito booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Barrialito's Rosendo Natal tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play forced Barrialito's goalkeeper Nacho Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barrialito throughout the match.
