Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filippo Pinti started the match with the kick off. After 3rd play minutes Filippo Pinti shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. After 7 minutes, Emilio Sciarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castagneto Po AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castagneto Po AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Emilio Sciarra hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Filippo Pinti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castagneto Po AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Pinti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dennis Cimino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Andrea Pinti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita scored 2-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Cimino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 22 minutes, Emilio Sciarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castagneto Po AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Sciarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Pinti came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Cimino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Filippo Pinti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Nola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Sciarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Dennis Cimino in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Cimino. Castagneto Po AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Andrea Pinti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Dennis Cimino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Pinti in the 79th minute of the match. Castagneto Po AFC's Dennis Cimino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Castagneto Po AFC from getting a goal against them. After 84 played minutes Castagneto Po AFC got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Nola. Castagneto Po AFC's Federico Ciccone was substituted for Andrea Pinti. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Castagneto Po AFC's Dennis Cimino got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Castagneto Po AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Dennis Cimino, making the score, 3-5. The Castagneto Po AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
