Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Remco Dekker took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play forced Decathlon Anderlecht's goalkeeper Ciro Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciro Lira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ciro Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Lira saved Decathlon Anderlecht from getting behind. Pedro Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Decathlon Anderlecht were awarded a corner. Richy Valkeneers went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Richy Valkeneers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remco Dekker in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giles Winnepenninck hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Decathlon Anderlecht's Remco Dekker in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Decathlon Anderlecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Petermans to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Lira skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play forced Decathlon Anderlecht's goalkeeper Ciro Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 43 minutes on the clock, Anthony Cummings commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 43rd minute, one of Decathlon Anderlecht:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Decathlon Anderlecht.

When Pedro Teles came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Decathlon Anderlecht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Teles couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Decathlon Anderlecht's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Remco Dekker came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play forced Decathlon Anderlecht's goalkeeper Ciro Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Lira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Decathlon Anderlecht got a freekick which was hit by Richy Valkeneers. In the 90th minute, Giles Winnepenninck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Decathlon Anderlecht booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giles Winnepenninck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Decathlon Anderlecht to leave the ground with a draw.
