In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s goalkeeper Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s Golo Dizenbergs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Michael Owen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Dizenbergs in the 34th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Dizenbergs in the 45th minute of play. ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Golo Dizenbergs in the 46th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 83 minutes of play, ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s Michael Owen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Orlando Casaus was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 88th minute of the match Chile got a corner. ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç did a great save. Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chile had won after a very even match.
