Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Nelson Vidal with Júnior Meirelles as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 7th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Pinho. But to his dismay, Claudinho Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Ivan Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Squadra Demarchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Squadra Demarchi's Kléber Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Loyola made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Ivan Navarro. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nelson Vidal hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Navarro in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Squadra Demarchi's Nilson Corrêa. 42 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Queirós came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match Sérgio Batista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ivan Navarro made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squadra Demarchi's Paulinho Paraibano. In the 55th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Kléber Queirós got a free kick in the 57th minute. Paulinho Paraibano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Queirós. Nelson Vidal made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Júnior Meirelles immediately put the ball in play. In the 76th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Moura to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Saldanha. Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Paulinho Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Júnior Meirelles threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Squadra Demarchi succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
