Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Giles Winnepenninck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Decathlon Anderlecht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giles Winnepenninck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ciro Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Remco Dekker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Anthony Cummings kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Remco Dekker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Remco Dekker came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Lira came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Decathlon Anderlecht's goalkeeper Ciro Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Remco Dekker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Decathlon Anderlecht's Ciro Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Decathlon Anderlecht's Ciro Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remco Dekker in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 played minutes Decathlon Anderlecht got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Teles. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Richy Valkeneers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Decathlon Anderlecht's Remco Dekker in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Decathlon Anderlecht's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ciro Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Anderlecht's Giles Winnepenninck got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciro Lira quite easily take care of the ball. Mattijs Klaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco Dekker in the 75th minute of the match. Ciro Lira made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Mattijs Klaes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Remco Dekker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Decathlon Anderlecht's Remco Dekker in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
