Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Messi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Corinthians's Leopoldo Palmeira. Cristiano Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Şensoy Sualp made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jiang Yi Chong immediately put the ball in play. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Messi. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Corinthians's Cristiano Messi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacy Kinic kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Cristiano Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Cristiano Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Corinthians's Leopoldo Palmeira. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ignacy Kinic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ignacy Kinic kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Ramos's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Iván Urtzi hit a great ball. Şensoy Sualp made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jiang Yi Chong however managed to control. There was no doubt that Corinthians were the better team. Corinthians's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
