Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dorel Cretu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Dorel Cretu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Dorel Cretu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. Dorel Cretu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dorel Cretu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The FC Truseni fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when FC Truseni's Dorel Cretu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Teodor Cornea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Dorel Cretu took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the game, FC Truseni's Teodor Cornea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dorin Dobã hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Aritza was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodor Cornea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorel Cretu's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorel Cretu helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Cornea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Aritza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute. FC Truseni's Sandu Perju was substituted for Tudor Buga. FC Truseni made a substitution. Eugen Tabãrã replaced Radu Briceag. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Cretu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Alexei Jereghi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Truseni and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Alexei Jereghi. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anibal Aritza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute. Leonid Nazaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Perju. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Perju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
