Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Remigio Micael came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Stathis Stoltidis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Glozor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Micael was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Christoffer Hesjedal hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loukas Bakogiannis's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Stathis Stoltidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Remigio Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Stathis Stoltidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acereros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Acereros FC's goalkeeper Remigio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Acereros FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Nataniel. Remigio Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Acereros FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stathis Stoltidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pankracy Glozor during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Acereros FC got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Glozor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Stoltidis in the 46th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stathis Stoltidis was the one to do the kick off. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Acereros FC's Gogo Chuse was substituted for Pankracy Glozor. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acereros FC the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukas Bakogiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Stoltidis came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Acereros FC's Gogo Chuse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Acereros FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
